Auto insurance which type is right for you
Auto insurance is a form of insurance available to consumers who own cars, trucks and other vehicles. It covers the insured party against the risks involved in owning or driving a vehicle. This may be a car accident, damage caused to other cars or property, loss to passengers in your car, and damage to your car itself.
Optional Covers
There are different levels of insurance available depending on what risks you wants to cover. You can cover against the costs of repairing your vehicle after an accident. You can cover the cost of purchasing a new car should yours be stolen or damaged beyond repair. These are optional covers.
Liability insurance on the other hand is compulsory for all drivers. This will cover the risk of claims being made against you as the driver or owner of the vehicle that caused damage to the property of another, the vehicle of another, for medical expenses of others injured as a result of an accident, including passengers in your car. If you have liability insurance, it will only cover these risks. If you have comprehensive insurance it will cover also the risks to yourself and your own vehicle.
GAP Insurance
However, even comprehensive insurance will not fully cover your risks. First of all there is the issue that, as soon as you buy a new car, its price suddenly drops significantly because it is no longer new. It is used. So if you were to destroy your car the day after buying it, the insurance company would likely assess the value as something less than what you paid for it, even though you may still owe a good deal more than that in payments and financing.
To cover the chances of this happening, so called GAP insurance was developed. This covers the difference in the actual value of your car, and the amount you still owe in payments. The growth of vehicle leasing has also led to GAP insurance becoming more important.
Extra Cover
In the US, the insurance policy will generally cover the owner of the vehicle and any others who drive the vehicle so long as they do not live at the same address. For those living at the same address, you should have them specifically added to your insurance policy for an extra fee. This means that if you crash someone else’s car, while driving it with their permission, you will be covered by their policy, not your own. Non-owner policies are available to cover you on other people’s cars but these will only be available if you do not own your own car.

Why do share prices change
Dear Fellow-Investor.
Stock prices change every day according to the markets activity. Buyers and sellers cause prices to change and therefore share prices change as a consequence of supply and demand. And it’s this dance between buyers and sellers, supply and demand that decides how valuable each share is.
If more people want to buy a share than sell it, the price goes up. Conversely, if more people want to sell a share than buy it, there’s more supply (sellers) than demand (buyers), and the price goes down.
Shares represent ownership in a company. So even if you own just one single share of a company, you own a part of it no matter how minute. Therefore, the price of a share indicates what investors feel the company is worth.
Stock prices can stay stable for months or fluctualt wildly which is refered to as volatility. There are hundreds of variables that drive stock prices, but the most important one is earnings. Attributable earnings can be described as the profit of a company after taxes and all other deductions i. e. it’s the net profit.
There’s often the misconception, especially with beginners, that a share that has risen will always fall, or a share that has fallen will always rise. Vice-versa, there’s also the misconception that a share that has risen will always continue to rise. This is not the case though! Stock prices reflect the interest of investors, not the law of gravity!
However, no market operates in a vacuum. In a borderless and interconnected world like the stock market, the slightest rumour or threat of war, rising oil prices or interest rate hikes for instance, can detonate a reaction on world markets which then react speedy and unpredictable.
To make matters worse, markets also react to less alarming news and events like a slip of the tongue. One wrong word said by mistake by an analyst or politician can cause a chain reaction and panic sending the markets into red territory.
But whichever way the wind blows, prices can rise as quickly as they fell especially after someones blunder saying the wrong thing. Once investors come to their senses again the stock markets can even begin to rise the same day again.
We may not be able to predict the forces that causes the markets to swing either up or down, but by analysing and understanding them, we will be better equiped to weather the lows and wait for the tide of fortune to turn.
It can definitely be said though, that it is important to always assess a company on it’s fundamentals. In the long term, good, solid and strong companies with good fundamentals usually return to their real value and strength, ironing out speculations based on rumours and innuendoes.
Yours in Successful Trading.

Bahamas diving and water adventures
Ocean adventures and the Bahamas just go together. The Bahamas are 700 islands and 2,000 islets (called cays or keys) scattered across more than 100,000 square miles of the western Atlantic Ocean. From a point roughly 70 miles east of West Palm Beach, Florida, this great archipelago extends 750 miles southward to the northern Caribbean, almost to the island of Hispaniola. With great weather all year, warm waters, fine beaches, and teeming coral reefs, the Bahamas offer endless delights for outdoor enthusiasts, especially divers and sports fishermen.
The islands in the Bahamas are generally low and flat. The highest point in the entire archipelago, on Cat Island, is only 206 feet above sea level. Of the islands and islets making up the archipelago, only about 30 are inhabited. Some are so tiny, they’re just boulders that appear and disappear with the rise and fall of the ocean. Some are long and thin, stretching for many miles. Others are home to thousands of people. The vast majority of the islands are deserted, with pristine beaches and tropical forests untouched by humans.
Tourism has brought prosperity to the Bahamas, but the great natural beauty of the islands has managed to remain unspoiled. In earlier days, unrestricted exploitation inflicted a lot of damage on Nassau and New Providence. All that has changed and today the people of the islands feel strongly that the unique beauty of their archipelago should be preserved: conservation is the new watchword of the Bahamas, and many conservation groups operate in the archipelago.
The more well-known cities and places in the Bahamas are Nassau, the largest city in the country, located on New Providence Island; Paradise Island, a long, narrow barrier island connected to Nassau by a toll bridge; Freeport, the second largest city, on the Grand Bahama Island. Grand Bahama has become something of an environmental headquarters of the islands. Beyond the cities lies another world: the Out Islands of Abaco, Andros, the Berry Islands, Bimini, Cat Island, Crooked Island, Eleuthera, the Exumas, Harbor Island, Long Island, and so on.
In a nation completely surrounded by the clearest of waters in the world, there are plenty of water sports and waterborne adventures. Before you immerse yourself in all the water adventures, remind yourself that the Bahamas offer plenty of opportunity to explore different habitats and spot rare birds. There are three endemic species – the Bahama woodstar hummingbird, the Bahama swallow and Bahama yellowthroat warbler. Other prized birds include the white-tailed tropicbird, Bahama pintail, Bahama parrot, great lizard-cuckoo, loggerhead kingbird, Bahama mockingbird and the stripe-headed tanager, to name but a few. The birds cannot be found on all of the Bahamian Islands, so a birding guide can ensure you make the best use of your time.
When to Go
The Bahamas are blessed with beautiful sunny weather and relatively constant temperatures year-round. The high season for travel runs from the middle of December to mid-April, when people in the northern hemisphere try to escape the chilly temperatures back home. Airfares are highest during these months. Fares drop during the May to September period, called the ‘shoulder season’ in the industry, and you can get the best prices during the low season from October to mid-December. It is good to remember that flying on weekends ordinarily adds a few dollars to the fare.
Planning Your Trip
Flight connections to the Bahamas are very easy to get, with daily flights to and from numerous American cities and several flights per week from Canada, the UK and Europe. The archipelago is also very accessible by sea, with cruise ships calling in at Nassau and Freeport every week, plus hundreds of marinas scattered throughout the islands.
It is invariably cheaper to buy package deals covering transportation and accommodations from a tour operator or travel agent than it is to buy your own ticket and accommodation separately. If you are going as a normal tourist, package holidays are worthwhile if you plan to visit the larger, busier resorts or known resorts in the Out Islands. If you’re looking to head off the beaten track, then you’re better off booking your own way.
In addition to the sun and sand holidays offered by tour operators, you can arrange with companies that specialize in diving and kayaking expeditions and eco-tours.

How to download legally
There’s nothing innocent about the word “downloading” nowadays. Several years back when Pentium Pro?, Windows 95? and 28.8 kbps modems were the buzzword in the computer world, downloading was just a method for people to get free or trial software (applications, games, documents etc.) off some website or ftp site. Less than a decade later, downloading has almost become synonymous with piracy as its function extended into shady areas neighboring on the unlawful. Three factors contributed to this trend. Computer chips, having to answer to Moore’s Law, have sped up exponentially. Broadband internet connections which makes downloading of sizeable files at faster rates, are now commonplace. That takes care of the hardware and data conduit aspect. On the software side of things, the arrival of peer-to-peer and torrent applications have unquestionably made it easier for people to download bootlegged video, music and software among other things. This is the golden age of digital piracy.
The fact that the internet traverses both borders and cultures, laws that are in effect in one country becomes ineffective and even useless in another. What’s more obvious is a difference in perception as to what is considered piracy and what is not. Then again, for some unscrupulous individuals, they just want to get something for nothing. Now, since all the necessary tools are readily available to anyone who’s aspiring to be a cyber buccaneer, what can be done to curve illegal downloads? The strong movement for a mass education campaign in teaching the public about piracy and its damaging effect to the economy has been ongoing. It aims to make people understand that just because intellectual properties like software and digital music are somewhat intangible, it doesn’t mean they’re free. Hopefully, we’ll see the fruits of this campaign in the very near future. To the rescue are blogs and websites that advocate legal downloads. They aren’t as many as torrent sites but the few ones that exist are extremely helpful and interesting.
What these blogs and sites bring to the table are very compelling articles and anecdotes that talk about anything and everything that has to do with legal downloads. Reading them will surely sway some people to step up and do downloads the right way, effectively steering some crowd away from doing downloads of the frowned upon kind. Although there is no way around to having to pay for commercial songs, software or videos, these blogs do provide plenty of tips and how-to’s on really free and legal downloads. There are guides that point you to the correct direction, sparing you from having to sweat searching for sites where you can make those socially approved downloads.
Technology and all of its components are constantly advancing in ways that will bring it to near perfection in the future. Without doubt, software security is somewhere on top of that ever changing and improving landscape. It is hard to predict when it will happen but digital piracy will be a thing of the past. In the meantime, sites that advocate legal downloads will be a haven for people of uncompromising principles.
Credit cards and business expenses
One thing about businesses is that the business expenses can really become unmanageable, particularly if you do not have a system in place to keep track of your expenses and know exactly where your money is going. All businesses small or large and everywhere in between should have a system in place that allows them to keep track of their business expenses. One great way of doing that is with a credit card.
Credit cards, especially if you use one designed specifically for your business can give business owners a great advantage. They allow you to not only purchase items and pay on them later, but also allow you to keep track of your expenses. Some cards are designed to provide business owners with extra services such as online access, which will allow you to print out reports, keep track of the various cards you have given to your employees, and monitor the costs of expenses as you go.
These types of credit cards are an essential element for most any business, regardless of size. In some cases, a business’ expenses may get out of control, having a handle on expenses and costs from the beginning can help avoid this problem. What is great about these types of credit cards is that many even offer rewards for using them in specific areas, which may include office supplies, improvement stores, airline flights, car rentals, and other business related expense items.
Using the right credit card may also allow you to control your expenses right down to the specific type of expense category it falls under. For example, some credit cards offer a service that allows you to view purchases based on categories such as entertainment, car rentals, airline flights, supplies, hotels, and so on. This is a great element for any business owner and can allow you to take control and put a stop of excessive spending in your company.
Even if your chosen credit card company does not provide extra benefits like mentioned above, you can still use your statements and receipts to determine where your money is going. Many businesses, particularly those who provide their employees, management, or executives with business credit cards, require that the cardholder submit copies of their receipts for record keeping. This is crucial, particularly for tax time, and keeping track of expenses.
By using one credit for all business expenses and only business expenses, you are assured the best method of keeping track. Even if you do not use or are not offered those extras, you will still find comfort in being able to determine how much you are spending, if and when you need to cut back on expenses, and control the spending within your business.
Another great thing about many business credit cards is that they allow you to give employees, administration, and management their own credit cards under the same account. This further allows you to manage your business expenses. You can determine how much a particular employee is spending and on what. This can be beneficial if a specific employee is abusing their credit card privileges.
Furthermore, all expenses will still be on the same account, which keeps the business expenses intact and easily managed. Each cardholder will receive their own credit card and credit card number, allowing them to use it when necessary for a variety of different business related expenses, but will all go under the same account during billing time.
Controlling your business expenses is a crucial step in operating a successful business of any type. The right business credit card will help you do just that, there are many available, do your homework and determine which one will best suit your company and its needs.

When you want to access the Internet, you want to have the fastest Modem connection possible. And the dialup modem will do if you want just email basic surfing.
The faster cable or dsl are a must have for such internet downloads of large files, super faster web page access, and viewing videos online.
Installing your new modem, whether its dialup, dsl, or cable, it can be a breeze when you both make the installation an education experience as well as having fun in the process.
For this to happen, you must be prepared with the right equipment. High speed modems will need an ethernet card in most cases, for example.
Let's take a deep down look at what it will take to get a new Internal or External modem up and running in your computer.
While we're at it, we will see what it takes to install a cable or dsl modem as well. These modems are always external but will need a couple for parts in order to get that fast internet speed.
Connecting Modems To The Computer
When installing your Modem, first right down the serial number for use should you need to contact technical support.
External modems are connected to the computer with the RS232 cable. This cable is connected to the rear of the system at the serial port and the modem itself. Some modems will have this cable as a part of the modem.
Internal modems are inserted in an expansion slot on the motherboard, unless its integrated with the motherboard.
Provide power to the external modem with the use of the adapter that with the modem. Internal modems get their power from the expansion slot right on the motherboard.
After the modem has been installed, both the external and internal modem must be connected to the analog phone line. Plug one end of the phone cord to the jack labeled Line on the modem and the other into the phone jack. You can then connect your telephone to the phone jack on the modem.
Installing Moem Software
Now you can replace the system unit cover if you are installing an internal modem. And after all peripherals are re-connected to the computer, boot the computer.
With external modems, simply turn the computer and modem on. See if the power indicator is on.
If you have Windows 98 installed, insert the floppy disk or cdrom containing the device driver into the appropriate drive when the "add new hardware" screen appears. Follow the instructions on the disk to install the device driver.
Be sure to read the modem install manual carefully to be sure all installation procedures were followed. Click on finish once Windows find and install the device driver. Users of Windows XP have an updated list of device drivers which may be present. Its best to use the disk when installing the software.
Testing YOUR NEW MODEM
The device driver allow your modem to talk to your computer. To see if the modem is working, click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, and click the Modems icon.
Read the description of the modem to be sure it is the one you have.
Windows XP users should click on Start, Control Panel, and click the Phone and Modems icon. Then click Modem, Properties, and Diagnostics. Run a Query Modem check to verify your modem is up and running.
Installing The Cable Or DSL Modem
Cable Modems are external and are connected to the computer by a Cat5 Cable. This cables looks like a regular modem data cable but is larger.
One end of the Cat5 Cable is inserted into the rear of the cable modem while the other end is inserted into a Network Interface Card.
This NIC card must be installed in an empty adapter slot in the system unit and transfer data between the computer and modem.
With the Cat5 cable connecting the modem and PC together, you must provide the Internet signal to the modem by connecting a coaxial cable to the modem.
This cable provides high speed internet access and may use the same connection as your television. One end of the coaxial cable connects to the modem and the other is connected the cable TV connector.
If the connection is being used by the TV, a cable adapter will split the signals and you can use one connector for both your TV and the Internet.
DSL Modems also use the NIC card and Cat5 cable. Some DSL modem require device drivers and either a cdrom or diskette should come with the modem.
Once you connect to the Internet with a cable or dsl modem, you'll most likely never go back to the slower dialup version.
On the other hand, you just may want to keep your dialup modem once you realize just how much more you're going to invest when it comes to broadband Internet.
Since the choice is yours, learn all you can about all modems, how they work, and how they connect to the world wide web. Your internet experience will grow by leaps and bounds if you do.

Business apartment rentals spain
During the last few years, many small companies have popped up like mushrooms in popular business destinations such as Barcelona & Madrid, all promising to be the best at renting out business apartments. So how do you choose between them? What should you be looking out for? What should you try and avoid? How can you be sure that the business apartment you are renting out isn't miles outside of town in a place that even the taxi driver hasn't heard of? How can you be sure that you haven't just rented out a holiday apartment on the Costa Brava?
What you are looking for which sets the business apartment rental industry apart from holiday rentals is a certain degree of professionalism. You want and need a rental company which does what it says. You need to be able to rely upon check in times & dates, apartment costs, rental availability, extra services and furnishing quality. You don't want your company staff or guests, staying in a place with rats and cockroaches, any less than you want them staying in a place without the advertised wireless Internet connection, without the promised telephone line and without the washing machine and tumble drier to get those shirts ready for that next-day important meeting.
Look for a company that has a good reputation. Speak to people who have used these companies. Check out their web sites. Do they have a good image? Do they instil confidence? You can't always judge a book by its cover, they say. But if a company can't get a simple thing like a web site working properly, can they really provide all that is necessary to rent out professional business apartments?
Take a look at customer testimonials, but most importantly, try actually speaking to someone at the company before you go ahead and book the apartment online. Whilst you may never be able to go to the place in person before the planned business trip, there really is no substitute for speaking to a real human being. So pick up the phone, give them a call and ask them all the questions you have in your mind. Chances are that if they cannot answer all your questions and make you feel happy and confident, then you have chosen the wrong place. Customer service is paramount these days, and a good business apartment rental company will be aware of this. The decision making is then up to you.
Whether you are visiting for business, to work on a project, to attend a congress, to give a course, to take a course, or maybe you start living there and building up the next step in your life, and you require temporary housing, you need to concentrate on a company which focuses on professionals.
With all these issues in mind, there are a few things you should ask for:
Are there basics such as a sofa, bed, TV & bathroom facilities?
How far is the apartment from the centre of town or the place of your business meetings and/or conferences?
Will there be someone who can be contacted at all times during the stay, who speaks your language?
Do they offer a taxi service and/or airport transfer?
Are there extra services such as a cleaning service, catering & baby care facilities?
Is there flexibility regarding your length of stay, in the case that you might need temporary accommodation whilst looking for a permanent place to live?
Is there flexibility in payment methods?
Is there a safe place for your belongings?
Are there any hidden costs such as agency fees?
If you have an emergency, will someone be there to help you out?
Who takes care of the small daily incidents you may encounter, such as a blind that gets stuck, a washing basin that suddenly starts leaking or if you happen to lock yourself out?
At the end of the day, you want to find a business apartment that suits you, one where you will feel at home. Not exactly like your own house, of course, but pretty close - a nicely decorated place, cosy, pleasant, where you can keep your clothes, books, music, sit down in the sofa and watch a good movie or check your emails on your laptop on the terrace, prepare the meeting for the next day while you cook your own meal. You want to be able to invite people over for dinner or to stay for the weekend. You need a place to stay where you can feel relaxed and do as you wish.
Of course, the final decision making is up to you. But you can make this process far easier by simply doing some investigation first.
